Narrative

Affected employee was in the process of changing crushing steel in #3 HP300 crusher. When removing and staging the feed hopper from the crusher, employee's small finger on his left hand was caught between the feed hopper hood and the adjacent roll crusher take up guard. Employee was seen by OHN who referrred him to First Med where he received 7 sutures to close the wound.
