Narrative

Employee was splitting a piece of sandstone using a 4 lb.hammer & a stone chisel when a metal fragment broke off the chisel & embedded in his left hand. EE declined medical treatment at the time, on 8/7/06 EE requested medical treatment for the pain in his hand. Dr. removed the fragment and stitched the wound.
