Narrative

The employee was placing bags on the spouts of baggers #1 & #3 when the bag he was placing on Bagger #1 did not open properly & his hand slipped forward & contacted the exhaust end of the spout. With use, the spouts get worn with sand running through them & a sharp edge forms. It was this edge that the ee's left hand had contacted resulting in the cutting of the thumb.
