#6 MLP 4 & 26 side employee removing discharge bolts to remove shell from pump. As employee removed the last bolt from flange the flexible was stretched out and retracted causing flange to hit impact wrench causing employee to strain his shoulder. The flexible opened up about 3 to 4"".
