## Narrative

Employee was pounding a lip shroud on a shovel bucket with an 8# sledge hammer to remove the shroud. A small piece of metal from the shroud (1/2""-11/4"") flew off & embedded in his left thigh (through coveralls & jeans). The sliver was removed and he rec'd 3 stitches.
