Employee was knocking a stuck cement block from the mine roof and he did not observe loose overhanging brow that came down striking him on his head and neck area. Cause of this injury was safety awareness. Rules/regs was not a factor, safety equip. not a factor, miner attitude a factor, mining equip./systems not a factor. EMPLOYEE DID NOT START TO MISS WORK UNTIL 9/9/06
