Narrative

Employee was moving in continuous miner. He placed a rope strap around the miner cable & hooked to the back of the miner boom. As the miner started to move forward he lost his balance & to keep from falling he placed his rt. hand on top of the miner boom as the miner was traveling over an undulation causing the boom to strike the mine roof. This resulted in a fracture to his hand
