EE was splitting a block of sandstone using a 4lb hammer and stone chisel, when a metal fragment broke off the chisel head and impaled in his left hand between the forefinger and thumb. Medical treatment on 10/26/06. Physician diagnosis: Foreign body injury, restricted work until 11/9/06.
