A footwall wedge was formed by the exposure of the toe of a parallel layer structure. A large block slid out on the calcified infiling between the blocks. It struck a mucker on the side of the engine compartment. The Helena Field Office was notified of the accident and the area was signed off until an MSHA representative could inspect the site on 1/8/07.
