## Narrative

Employee had been pulling a hydraulic jack into position with two other employees and experienced pain to his groin area. After leaving the mine, a small knot raised at the injured area. Approximately two weeks later, he was examined by a surgeon. It was determined he had a hernia to the groin area. Surgery was scheduled for 1-8-07. He worked all scheduled shifts until then.
