Elder-Ridge Contracting Company (4 men) were changing bearings on a snub roller of the Huff Creek Mine slope belt located on the surface. The crane boom failed, causing boom to fall striking 3 contractor employees. Injured received fractured ribs, vertabrae and punctured spleen.
