## Narrative

Welder was in P&H lunchroom, removed PPE headgear; he felt something in his eye. He flushed with eyewash. Approx. 2 hours later, TBCC EMT flushed eye again, examined & found nothing. Welder felt OK. After shift, he was taken to eye doctor. A metal particle was removed from upper eyelid. Cornea was scratched. Antibiotic eye drops prescribed.
