## Narrative

Employee was cleaning/lifting rock from 60 in under jaw belt and shoveling.  He felt a pull in left waist area.  This was reported to the supervisor but nothing needed to be done.  Several months later it was found to be a hernia and surgery was performed causing him to miss work.
