Geologist using machete to clear brush about 40? uphill on a steep slope, in order to step forward up the hill, Geo stuck the machete in the ground freeing his hands to grasp onto trees and assist him up the hill. He began to step forward and up the hill; right knee contacted machete, resulting in a ~1"" long laceration on the outside of right knee.
