## Narrative

Miner was trimming a piece of rubber at a conveyor discharge using a box cutter knife when he lost his footing and slipped.   When he lost his footing he sliced across his left hand with the knife and cut his hand.  Miner was wearing leather work gloves but the knife cut through the glove.
