Narrative

EE was operating a continuous miner on Unit #1. He was loading coal on the right side of the unit. He was standing directly under a roof bolt, when a rock fell out between roof bolts and struck him on top of his left foot. The rock fell such that it struck him behind his metatrasal support on his boot. The rock was apprx 36""X30""X0-6"". He received a fracture to top of left foot.
