Narrative

Employee was performing ring drilling. When inserting the drill steel and bit, steel fell from the centralizers. Employee attempted to control the falling steel. The falling steel pinched the finger between the steel and frame resulting in laceration of the right index finger requiring sutures. Treating physician did not prescribe any time away from work for injury.
