## Narrative

Employee was pulling drill steel out of the top when he hit his right wrist on a bent down bacon strap causing a laceration to his wrist.  Rules and regulations is not a factor.  Mining equip/systems not a factor.  Mining proficiency was a factor.  PPE was not a factor.  Returned to work on 8/7/07 but missed 8/9/07 for surgery to repair a severed tendon to his ring finger.
