EE was changing ripper teeth on a motorgrader. He hit one of the teeth with a hammer and a sliver of metal came off the tooth and hit the EE in the chin. The EE was taken to the ER where the piece of metal was removed and the wound closed with four stitches. No restrictions were issued and the EE returned to work.
