Narrative

Employee was moving a piece of 16"" diameter 34 feet long plastic pipe by using a sling and pitman. The end of the pipe tilted towards the ground and the connecting ring on the pipe slid down striking the end of his thumb. Employee was diagnosed with a fracture to his thumb.
