Employee was jackleg drilling, when the machine started to hang up. As the machine was pulled back a rock fell from the back, striking the machine and then the employee left thigh, causing a laceration which required sutures. The employee was check scaling during the bolting cycle and his partner was watching the ground when the rock fell.
