Supervisor was sawing a wood post to set and he cut the post crooked. He picked up the post to slam it down to break it off and he strained his back. Cause of this injury was overexertion and employee safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, protective equipment was not a factor, miner proficiency a factor, mining equip/systems not a factor.
