Mechanic was installing channel in the ""A"" Finishing Screen Bucker-Up frame. He was holding the channel with his Left hand, while hammering it into position for welding with his right hand. He missed the target and hit the wall adjacent to the piece of channel. The deflected hammer struck the employees left thumb.
