EE reported: After completing repairs to top of continuous miner, was climbing off the machine. When he stepped onto the mine floor, right foot slipped on loose material, twisting his ankle and knee. Reported event 12/28/07, notified the mine 1/4/08 & reported he was seeking medical treatment. Started missing scheduled work days as of 1/7/08. Became a Lost Time injury on that date.
