## Narrative

Injured was responding to an emergency job when the mine had a tear in the overland conveyor. A steel cord conveyor had a 14"" tear for 7000'. Injured was assisting in removing the torn segment when a piece of the conveyor that was already removed and piled up fell against him and knocked him down causing him to strike his left arm against a piece of angle iron, fracturing arm.
