Narrative

Using a mall to break open a valve, employee felt pain in his right shoulder/upper back and was treated with first aid measures. The employee's injury failed to improve with first aid treatment. Upon further medical evaluation, it was determined the employee experienced a torn rotator cuff that required surgical repair.
