An accumulation of CH4 occurred on the longwall face from shield 155 to 156. The longwall had encountered bleeder in the mine floor. The face was de-energized and all persons except those necessary to correct the problem were removed from the affected area. The bleeder was allowed to disapate & CH4 reading returned to below 1.0%.
