Narrative

While repairing a water line on a Joy 14CM15 continuous miner and holding up the left side hinge plate cover, the Technician's hand slipped off the cover, allowing it to fall onto his left hand. Diagnosed to have fractures to #3 and #4 metacarpals of his left hand.
