Narrative

While changing a tipper valve on #1 ESP, EE tried to free the valve, grabbing it with his right hand. When it came loose, the valve dropped, pinching EE's thumb between the valve handle stop and the valve body. He was taken to Medical, then brought off site for treatment. X-ray was negative, but does require stitches. Released without restrictions.
