## Narrative

While the employee was taking the bucket off of the diesel scoop, the quick attach pin on the left side stuck. After removing the bucket they tried to move the pin back the opposite direction. They used a brass sledge and a B&O hammer to free up the pin. After hitting the B&O hammer, a splinter of steel broke off of the hammer and struck the employee in the back of his hand.
