## Narrative

Sliding 4"" h-beam over the top of the last shield on the recovery face rock fell along side of the shield striking EE and landing on his ankle. Cause of the injury was safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs, protective equip was not a factor.  Miner knowledge may be a factor, mining systems could be a factor.
