## Narrative

Employee was cutting a metal band that was holding a pellet of bacon straps together on a supply car. The band when it was cut through flew up and laceration his arm. Cause of this injury was safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, protective equip (long sleeve shirt) was a factor, miner proficiency a factor, mining equip/systems not a factor.
