## Narrative

Employee, along with co-workers, were lifting rail up onto a rail truck to be removed from the section.  Cause of this injury is not having a mechanical means to lift rail onto rail trucks. Compliance with rules/regs, protective equip was not a factor.  Mining systems is a factor for this job and miner proficiency a factor.
