Narrative

Attempted to stop lime from spraying from the opening around the 10"" knife blade valve by sealing the opening with tape. The EE was wearing a respirator, but no eye protection. The dry lime struck his repirator and entered behind it. After exiting the building, he rinsed the lime from his head and face with water. Caused irritation and minor burns to eyes and face.
