This accident was initially reported as a minor first aid 5/14/2008 when after helping to hang miner cable, then building a stopping, employee's left thumb became sore and weak. He couldn't bend his thumb and went to see a physician 6/9/2008. The thumb did not heal and surgery was performed 7/10/2008 to re-attach a separated tendon.
