## Narrative

While removing an O-ring with a pocket knife, the employee's hand slipped and he cut his thumb.  He was instructed by the EMT that he would need stitches and he should wait until he got off work to go to the clinic.  HSLP was not notified of the employee having stitches until 7/21/08.
