## Narrative

Continuous miner was cleaning up the left side of a 30 foot cut through x-cut 4 to 5. Spinning miner heads threw an unknown object toward the operator, who was located to the right side of the continuous miner, back along the first pig. The operator saw an object flying toward him, tried to get out of the way, but the object struck just below his right eye and his nose.
