## Narrative

Carrying a bag of rockdust and he stepped into a hole and felt pain in his left knee. He continued to work at his regular duties, but continued to have pain. He eventually went to a physician and was diagnosed with severe degenerative joint disease. This is occupational illness due to repeated trauma. He was removed from work on 9/12/2008.
