Narrative

Employee was working at the cold end of calcination. While using a maul to open a valve, he smashed his right index finger between the maul & the breaker bar. Finger was x-rayed and found to be fractured. He is scheduled to see an Ortho hand Specialist on Friday, October 3, 2008.
