Narrative

Employee had just finished installing a roof bolt and walked back to the control levers to drop the canopy, when a rock fell out between roof bolts and struck him on top of his left wrist, causing an approximate 2 inch laceration. The rock that struck him was approximately 0 to 1/2 inches thick and 18 inches x 18 inches. Five sutures were required to close the laceration.
