While bolting a chunk of shale struck him on the left foot causing pain. He was turning to run and was unsure if the rock bounced off the canopy or hit his foot directly. Transported by private vehicle to Memorial ER where X-rays revealed no fracture. Treated and released with a ""sitting only"" restriction and returned to unrestricted work 10/17/2008.
