Employee was sitting on a shield that was done moving and as the adj. shield moved in towards the panline the shield caught a brow and the panline jumped back. Cause of this injury was safety awarenesss. Miner proficiency a factor, mining systems could be a factor, miner protective devices not a factor, compliance with rules/reg. not a factor.
