## Narrative

EE was helping repair a broken feeder chain. He was using a hammer to replace the straps on the links & accidently struck his finger with the hammer. He finished his shift & sought medical attention at hospital. He continued to work until 11-4-08 when he went to Pikeville Medical Center due to pain in his finger. X-rays revealed a fracture to his left middle finger.
