Narrative

A tech was installing a pin into a bore on an earthmoving piece of equipment. The pin weighs 205 lbs. and was located on the ground when the tech hooked the crane using chains onto the pin. He raised the pin approx. 5 ft to align the pin with the bore.He held onto the back portion of the pin to stabilize movement when the slipped and crushed the tip of his right pinky finger.
