## Narrative

Employee was putting shield car on track.  Employee was lining wheel up and swung the wheel and pinched his left index finger between wheel and the frame of car.  Cause of injury was lack of concentration and safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, protective equip was not a factor.  Mining equip/system not a factor and miner proficiency not a factor.
