Narrative

An unintentional roof fall occurred on the longwall tailgate at approximately 3:20 PM at intersection #79. The roof rock is estimated to be 15 to 20 feet long and 6 to 8 feet high. MSHA and WVMHST were notified timely and the longwall tailgate blockage plan was implemented.
