EE was cutting a wire tie from a bundle of computer wires. The knife blade broke causing EE's hand to strike a piece of metal lacerating the tip of his thumb & nail. The injury was treated with 1st aid & the bleeding stopped. EE returned to work requesting no further medical treatment. He self treated for 5 days but suffered periodic bleeding.
