The injured employee was pulling a broken piece of stageloader flight from the idle sprocket on the headgate cross-frame. The flight slipped out of employee's hand causing a laceration to left index finger. The employee was wearing leather gloves at the time. The employee was brought outside and sent to hospital where he received seven sutures to his finger.
