Employee stated he was helping unload material from a vehicle when he turned and stepped on a uneven place in the roadway injuring his left knee. Apparently his knee had arthritis in it for a long time and was stated by the doctor that this condition predated this incident. The degeneratve tissue was ruptured and caused some tearing and mechanical locking. (03/31/2009)
