## Narrative

Employee was drilling holes in the granite to prepare for blasting. He was ending work for the day. The bit came loose from the drill. EE automatically grabbed for the bit and got his ring finger, left hand pinched between the bit and the other steel. Part of the bone on finger was damaged.
